Daily routine teas inspired by Swedish typography.

Tika is an environmentally friendly tea company, inspired by sweedish typography, that cares as much about the user as they do about the Earth. The sweedish phrase Fika translates to, “ a break from activity during which people drink coffee, eat cakes or other light snacks, and relax with others.” Tika provides morning and night routine teas that emphasizes a self-ritualistic moment to breathe in this crazy world. In the morning, Tika has a caffeinated black tea to wake up to and a relaxing caffeine free mint green tea to help the user relax in the evening.

Due to Tika’s Sweedish inspiration, swiss type design is referenced in the brand’s visual language. The classic Helvetica font along was used along with bright but earthy tones and basic shapes to remain authentic to that design style. For the brand's voice, detailed line drawings of the ingredients were added to compliment the minimal type and shapes. There is packaging for a complete routine tea which is split down the middle providing half morning and half night teas, as well as individual morning and night teas. All materials used are 100% recycled and printed with soy based ink because Tika is committed to the responsibility of sustainable design and is taking active steps to cut down its environmental impact.
